When you agree to buy all of your Pronto! printing supplies (all of the labels and ribbons you use with your Pronto!) from QuickLabel for a period of one year, we thank you for your business by offering you two great benefits:
1) We give you free replacement printheads and drive rollers
Printheads and drive rollers are barcode printer wear parts that need to be replaced periodically, depending on use. When it’s time to replace your printhead or drive roller, you will notice print defects in your labels. Some Pronto! owners will replace printheads and drive roller only every few years, while others replace them as often as 2-3 times per year because they cannot tolerate label print defects such as “voids” (areas of non-printing) that result from a worn printhead or “wavy horizontal lines” that may result from a worn drive roller that can no longer maintain a tight grip on label material.
Regardless of when you replace your printhead, this can be an unplanned expense of $656 - $1718. Each drive roller is $69. Your Pronto! MRC makes it painless to replace these wear parts: the parts are free to Pronto! MRC customers, just let us know when yours need to be replaced!
2) We lock-in your prices for barcode labels and thermal transfer ribbon
It is common for pricing of paper and petroleum-based products to fluctuate, and recent years have shown steady increases in the costs of the raw materials used to manufacture labels and ribbons. However, we will “freeze” the price you pay against any potential increase in ribbon and label pricing over the year. This protects your budget, so you can control and accurately forecast what you will pay for barcode labels and ribbons.
